Healing Moments

In that moment, she healed. Her healing was found through her belief, through her spoken word, through her time in the presence of Jesus. In one moment, with one touch, she healed.

Tonight’s Healing Prayer:

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We come uplifting your name thanking you that just one touch from you lord Jesus brings healing. We thank you, Abba for healing. We thank you for the anointing that breaks the yolk of every ailment, Illness, sickness and disease. We bind right now every fiery dart of the enemy and we ask that you send your word forth to deliver and heal my friends reading this prayer today. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ! We seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus.

Lastly, I pray for those in India. Abba, I ask for your deliverance and healing over all.

Let your name be known all throughout the earth as healer, deliver, as our Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray, amen. 🙏🏽

Immunity Boosting Tips in Twenty-21

We have made it to 2021 and we have some kinks to work out. There are many concerns when it comes to our health and the decisions we are having to make quickly when it comes to our personal health and the health of our loved ones. Whatever you choose, I’m here for you and trust that with our faith in place we can utilize wisdom to make the best choices for ourselves and our loved ones. While we do not always know what the future holds, we know who does and we can seek wisdom and lean into God’s word for comfort and direction. As we do so, we have the power to take control of what we place in our bodies and our minds to maintain optimal health. I’m believing with you for a better future, healthier bodies and a long life. Here are some tips for 2021 and beyond to boost our immunity and create greater health:

  1. Prayer: As God is the center of my life, prayer will always be my number one tip. Our power to heal and be healthy is found in our belief system. If we consume negative news all day, we may be pushed towards fear; thus resulting in making decisions based off of that emotion. However, if we are consumed by the word of God we will make decisions based off of truth. God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This word is so comforting to me, because no matter what is happening in the world I know that God has good plans for me as long as I remain close to Him. I want to encourage you dear friends to remain close to God and seek Him to gain wisdom in how to remain healthy in today’s time. He will order your steps and you will find comfort and help.
  2. Laughter: Get a good laugh in daily. Let’s do it together now! (I hope this statement made you smile, or at least crack a smile on your face). According to Science Daily, “laughter has a positive effect on modulating components of the immune system, including increased production of antibodies and activation of the body’s protective cells, including T-cells and especially Natural Killer Cells ‘ killing activity of tumor cells.” Even if there isn’t anyone in your life that makes you smile or laugh often, there are many other ways to get a smile on your face. I encourage you dear friends to be mindful in inviting laughter and joy into your everyday life. It’s a good feeling to know that we can create greater health just by being happy.
  3. Hope: The word of God tells us in Proverbs 13:12 “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” This scripture tells me that when we lose our hope, we also lose our health. We can increase our hope by stirring up our faith daily by hearing the word of God. We live in a world that is ever-changing, but the word of God will faithfully and everlastingly remain the same. When we place our hope in His word, we will find overtime that our health increases because our faith is in our creator and not the ever-changing world.
  4. Foods that Boost your Immune System: Choosing foods that boost your immune system daily will give you a greater edge while maintaining your health out in today’s world. We should consume macronutrients and micronutrients (Macros: Proteins, Healthy Fats, Healthy Carbohydrates) (Micros: vitamins and minerals) daily. Although we can supplement to meet our micronutrient needs, we should aim to consume these nutrients through clean foods. According to Harvard Medical School “five micronutrients – vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, magnesium, and zinc – they all play a major role in maintaining immune function.” Aiming to incorporate foods that carry these nutrients will give you the boost you need to maintain proper health.
  5. Vitamin D: According to Dr. Rhonda Patrick of Found my Fitness “Vitamin D is a steroid hormone that is a major regulator of immune function and plays a particularly important role in preventing respiratory tract infections. Vitamin D activates the innate immune system, which elicits an early antiviral response.” Dr. Rhona Patrick has done extensive research on Vitamin D involving the immune system, as I have found it extremely helpful in understanding why Vitamin D is necessary in maintaining a healthy immune system. I personally retrieve Vitamin D in the form of supplements and occasionally through natural sunlight.
  6. Lymphatic Massage: A lymphatic massage can provide your body the ability to eliminate toxins while supporting the immune system. According to Women’s Health Magazine you may “pull up a spa menu online and there’s a solid chance you’ll see a lymphatic drainage massage on there claiming to help flush toxins, amp up immunity, and nix water weight and bloat.” Personally, I have yet to try the lymphatic massage, but will soon give it a try and share my experience.
  7. Sleep: I understand in today’s time, some nights may be tough to sleep while wondering what tomorrow may hold. I want to reassure you dear friends, that you can find rest as you rely on God’s perfect peace. Sleep plays a vital role in allowing our immune system to function optimally, so we need the proper amount on a regular basis. According to the CDC “sleep loss is also related to a higher risk for infection. Restricting sleep to 4 hours per night for 6 days, followed by sleep for 12 hours per night for 7 days, resulted in a greater than 50% decrease in production of antibodies to influenza vaccination, in comparison with subjects who had regular sleep hours.” As such, we can increase immune function with steady, regular sleeping hours.

My Year Long 365 Day Transformation 2021

In the last quarter of 2020 God placed it on my heart to THRIVE in 2021. I knew that certain areas of my life could not remain as they were. Some areas were stagnant and others were just mundanely getting along. I knew that I had to make some changes and a 30 day challenge wasn’t going to be the answer. After praying to God about how I could truly thrive He told me to give it a full year, 365 days of dedication to His word and focusing on only the plans He has for me in the year of 2021. I realized that there were many things in my life that were not serving as purpose to the will of God and needed to be eliminated. Filling our lives up with things that are outside of God’s plan for our lives can have an effect on experiencing God’s best for us. Therefore, we do not want to miss out on recieving His promises in our due season because we are out of focus. Giving anything an entire year brings about true transformation. I have started off this year with prayer and fasting for the first month and will blog about my 365 day transformation journey at the end of this year. I hope that many of you can join me in true transformation over the year. My 365 day transformation may look a lot different than your transformation depending on what God shows you.

Here are some steps you can take towards a greater change over this year:

  1. Make Drinking water a habit that you enjoy. Decide that you won’t go a day without your recommended portion (8 glasses).
  2. Get your Beauty Sleep every night. More than ever we need to regenerate our cells to increase health within our bodies and this happens while we sleep.
  3. Seek the wisdom of God in all areas of your life. Jesus cares about every detail of our lives. Nothing is too big or too small. He cares and has an answer for you. He is our Father and wants the very best for his children. Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to me and I will answer you- I will tell you great and hidden things, which you do not know”
  4. Journal your year so that you can reflect towards the end of the year. I have different journals for specific areas of my life. Health, Relationship, Finances, which all have a prayer section within the journal. I enjoy writing out my prayers because I can reflect on them and praise God once they are answered!
  5. Get an advisor or coach that you can trust whether it’s spiritual, financial or health & wellness. Wherever your focus is this year in the area God is calling you to thrive in. Ask God to lead you to the right advisor.
  6. Accomplish something this year that you have been putting off that you know God has been asking you to do. Blessings are on the other side of obedience to the voice of God. You may be missing out on the blessings you are praying for due to lack of focus and commitment.
  7. Find a support group or spend more time with the family and friends that support you the most! Being around people that believe in you can propel you to greater heights. We need to be around people who will water us with the word of God. Faith comes by hearing, therefore in order to activate our faith we should spend more time with those who are in the word and speak life over us. This is also a responsibility that we have as well. Encourage yourself and speak life over the things God is calling you to do, speak life over yourself, your atmosphere, and those you come in contact with. Be a light for God!
  8. Eat Clean!! My mission is being a walking billboard for health and for Jesus. As a Health Enthusiast, I not only want to help others develop healthy habits, I know that I must stick to them myself and also allow myself the flexibility to eat foods that I enjoy just in a healthier way!
  9. Be ALL IN! Whole-Heartedly. This should be number 1. The scripture James 1:7-8 is a scripture that talks about being half-hearted and since reading that scripture I never want to go about anything in this life half-hearted. It is my mission for all the days of my life to give it my all. If we live this way we will be less likely to sign up for everything or say yes to anything. We will be more selective because we know that it has to receive our all. Whether a relationship, a workout, an eating plan, a work assignment, and anything God calls us to. Let us do it whole-heartedly.
  10. Seeking the will of God and doing just that. We shouldn’t go through life aimlessly or wasting time. We should move with a purpose and do it with our whole heart. I will say that it is absolutely ok if you don’t know your purpose or what God has called you to do. This is why we seek Him, and when you do He will answer you and show you. Once God confirms it, write the vision, pray on it, and begin to take action steps towards it. When we are in the will of God doors open that we couldn’t open ourselves. Blessings await when we operate in God’s plan for our lives. Doing it our way will only bring heartache and the lack of fulfillment (Joy, peace, prosperity). Scriptures to meditate on: Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
  11. Lastly, let’s move our bodies more! Wearing a Fitbit really does help me to keep track of my movement and motivates me to do more. It’s as if I compete with myself. When I notice my steps and motions less than they were the week before, I become motivated to do more. Laying your workout clothes out the night before will prompt you to workout the next day along with keeping a schedule that holds you accountable to your workouts.
