Welcome to day 17 of 25 days of Prayer. We are declaring the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and protection (Psalm 91) over our lives and our families. I believe that we have everything we need through the word of God and it is up to us to seek Him for it. We should be able to rest peacefully at night knowing that His angels are watching over us keeping us safe. Are you ready? Let us pray.

Prayer for Protection according to Psalm 91.

Father in the name of Jesus. We thank you for being the protector of our family and household. We declare and decree that because we dwell in the shelter of the Most High of You Lord Jesus we will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty (whose power no enemy can withstand). We will say that You are our refuge and fortress. Our God, in whom we trust and rely on! For You Father save us from the trap of the Fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. Thank you Lord that You cover us and completely protect us with Your wings, and under Your wings we find refuge. Your faithfulness Father is a shield and a wall for us. We will not be afraid of the terror of night nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays day or night. A thousand may fall at our side and ten thousand our right, but danger will not come near us. We thank you that no evil nor any plague will come near us or our household in Jesus name. We thank you that Your angels protect and defend us. Thank you that You hear our prayers, You bless us with long life and give us salvation. Praise be to the Most High God! In Jesus name, amen.

Prayer for Protection – Dressed in the Armor of God according to Ephesians 6:10-18

Father in the name of Jesus. We will be strong in the Lord and draw our strength from Jesus and be empowered through our union with Him. We put on the full armor of God, so that we will be able to stand up against all the schemes and strategies and deceits of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood (physical opponents) but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in supernatural places. Therefore, we put on the full armor of God so that we will be able to resist and stand our ground in the evil day standing firm, fully prepared, immovable and victorious. We stand firm in personal integrity and moral courage (wide band of truth around waste) we choose an upright heart (breastplate of righteousness) and our feet firmly footed and stable in the Lord (shoes of peace). We lift up the protective shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, the word of God. With prayer and petition praying specific requests at all times, on every occasion and in every season in the spirit. It is so. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
