Welcome to Day 9 of 25 Days of Prayer! We are lifting up fathers today in prayer. Like mothers, fathers also “carry” weight in various ways. We are thankful for their strength and realize they need uplifting through prayer as they may face unspoken challenges. Today we pray for their leadership, courage, protection, strength and guidance in the Lord. Are you ready? Let us pray.

Prayer for Fathers:

Dear Lord Jesus, today I lift up fathers to You around the world. Lord, I pray a special blessing over the fathers connected to those reading this prayer today. Lord, You know the heart of men and the very challenges that they face as fathers. I pray that they have the courage to seek Your guidance when they don’t know how or what to do. I pray that they obtain wisdom through Your word in order to lead their children in the way You would have them to go. We know Lord that You have designed fathers to be protectors, I supplicate that You would protect these fathers as they be a protector to their children. Lord, You have made men to be strong, I pray that when he feels weary that he finds his strength in You and come back even stronger. Lord, I pray that this father would never feel condemned as there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Read Romans 8:1). Lord, when he makes mistakes please give him the courage and conviction to seek your forgiveness and receive Your grace quickly. Lord, I cover this father and his family in the blood of Jesus today and in your complete love. It is in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ I pray. It is so. Amen.

I now speak a blessing over fathers:

I speak that he is courageous and strong in You Lord Jesus. I speak that he is a leader, a protector, a provider, and an overcomer. I speak that he finds his confidence in You to be a father. I speak that he is blessed and is a blessing to his children. He is forgiven. He is redeemed. He is healed. He is loved. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray. It is so. Amen.

We Praise You Lord! I ask this prayer be sealed into Heaven. We thank you Lord, for You are Faithful, You are Good, You are Righteous. I Praise You Lord. YHWH! Adonai! Elohim! Yeshua! Lord, Jesus Christ.
