Welcome to Day 2 of 25 Days of Prayer! Today we are praying for women around the world. Ephesians 5:26 informs Husbands to wash their wives in the word. I will go more in depth on this topic when we pray for Husbands and Wives in the days to come. In the meantime, whether a woman is married or not she needs a covering (prayer and the word). The Holy Spirit has also placed it on my heart to pray for the identity of women and true worth in Christ.
Prayer for Women:
Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up to you the woman reading this prayer today (insert a name if reading this for someone else). Lord I supplicate and ask that she would be encouraged in You as You guide her and draw her closer to You. Father, if she hasn’t come to You because she feels she cannot due to sin, would You let her know that You love her, that Your arms are open to her, and ready to forgive her when she comes to You in prayer. (Pray Psalm 51).
Selah
Father, I ask that You would reveal to her what Your tender, loving-kindness and mercy feels like if she doesn’t already know. Let her experience Your grace and freedom from any sin or previous mistakes. Father teach her Your ways and guide her in the path of truth and life. Allow any walls to fall down that she has built in-between You and her. Father, as she prays and turns away from sin, I command every demonic influence and evil spirit in her life to leave and not return. I command every foul spirit back to the pit of hell and to not return on earth to torment her any longer. I command it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Father, give her a fresh desire within her spirit to pursue Your heart. (Read Matthew 6:33). Lord teach her to pray about everything and worry no more. (Read Philippians 4:6-8). Father help her to place her complete trust and confidence in You in ALL that she does. Lord Jesus, let her find her worth in You and not in others or the things of this world. I pray that she is not conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of her mind. (Read Romans 12:2). Father, help her to not give in to the pressures of this world, but to keep her faith in You. Father, as she spends time in Your presence help her to uncover her true identity, value and worth. She shall begin to believe what You say about her, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made. (Read Psalm 139:14) You have plans to prosper her, to give her hope and a future. (Read Jeremiah 29:11). I thank you Lord for setting her free through this prayer and by the truth of Your word.
Selah
I now speak a blessing over the woman reading this prayer:
I speak that she is fearfully and wonderfully made by the hands of God. (See Psalm 139:13-14). She is a new woman in Christ, forgiven, redeemed, blessed, highly-favored, valuable and loved by You Abba Daddy God. She finds her true identity in You. She is worthy. She is healed. She is restored. Lord Jesus, I pray Your full armor over her. Father, as she seeks Your presence in her life cause her to rise up into the woman You called her to be. I speak that this woman in You will do great things, be great and represent You well in every aspect of her life. I call her the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, blessed when she comes in and when she goes out, blessed in her city, in her country, in her field of work. It is in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names! Yeshua, Jesus Christ. I call this woman blessed. it is so! Amen.
We Praise You Lord! I ask this prayer be sealed into Heaven. We thank you Lord, for You are Faithful, You are Good, You are Righteous. I Praise You Lord. YHWH! Adonai! Elohim! Yeshua! Lord, Jesus Christ.
Shalom
