Welcome to Day 1 of 25 Days of Prayer! Today we are starting by praying for men. As they are the head of the household (1 Corinthians 11:3). It is important that they be lifted up in prayer through the strength of God. Every prayer that I write will be led by the Holy Spirit and I know it will be a blessing for many. These prayers can also be prayed beyond the 25 days.
Prayer for Men:
Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up to you the man reading this prayer today (insert a name if reading this for someone else). Lord I supplicate and ask that he would be encouraged in You as You guide him and draw him closer to You. Father, if he hasn’t come to You because he feels he cannot due to sin, would You let him know that You love him, that Your arms are open to him, and ready to forgive him when he comes to You in prayer. (Pray Psalm 51).
Selah
Father, I ask that You would reveal to him what Your tender, loving-kindness and mercy feels like if he doesn’t already know. Let him experience Your grace and freedom from any sin or previous mistakes. Father, teach him Your ways and guide him in the path of truth and life. Allow any walls to fall down that he has built in-between You and him. Father, as he prays and turns away from sin, I command every demonic influence and evil spirit in his life to leave and not return. I command every foul spirit back to the pit of hell and to not return on earth to torment him any longer. I command it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! Father, give him a fresh desire within his spirit to pursue Your heart. ( Read Matthew 6:33). Lord teach him to pray about everything and worry no more. (Read Philippians 4:6-8). Father, help him to place his complete trust and confidence in You and in ALL that he does. When he feels tired or weary help him to rely on You as the strength that he needs. Father, let him not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind. (Read Romans 12:2). Father, help him to not give in to the pressures of this world, but to keep his hope and faith in You. Lord Jesus, if your son is living in any sin right now I ask that You gently bring conviction to his heart so that he may seek Your forgiveness and repent. Lord, let him not be caught up or lost in the world, rather let him abide in Your living word and place his full confidence in You.
Selah
I now speak a blessing over the man reading this prayer:
I speak that he is courageous and strong. He is a mighty man of valor (See Judges 6:12). He is a new man in Christ, forgiven, redeemed, blessed, highly-favored, valuable and loved by You Abba Daddy God. Lord Jesus, I pray Your full armor over him. Father as he seeks Your presence in his life cause him to rise up into the man You called him to be. I speak that this man in You will do great things, be great and represent You well in every aspect of his life. I call him the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, blessed when he comes in and when he goes out, blessed in his city, in his country, in his field of work. It is in the mighty and matchless name Jesus Christ, the name above all names! Yeshua, Jesus Christ. I call this man blessed. It is so! Amen.
We Praise You Lord! I ask this prayer be sealed into Heaven. We thank you Lord, for You are Faithful, You are Good, You are Righteous. I Praise You Lord. YHWH! Adonai! Elohim! Yeshua! Lord, Jesus Christ.
Shalom
